The "East Bakersfield Community Collaborative" is helping to sponsor the KMC Drop-Off Site. For more information call the East Bakersfield Community Collaborative at 631-5877.

Residents are encouraged to deliver items.

ITEMS ACCEPTED AT NO CHARGE:
Refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters, furniture, mattresses, other large items.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
Household trash, greenwaste (lawn clippings, etc) tires, construction or remodeling waste, and hazardous waste

Curbside Collection Programs

City of Bakersfield: one large item every three months upon request.

A voluntary curbside recycling program is also available at $80.00 per year. Collection for recycling items is every two weeks.

County of Kern: two large items per month upon request.

Bulky Waste Program as described above is currently held twice a year (typically in April and October), stay tuned for scheduled events.
